Fans of Jeff should definatly check out his father, Tim Buckley. another underrated singer/songwriter who left this world too early. His album Starsailor is one of my all-time favorites.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
oh my goodness. i love jeff buckley. favorite songs are last goodbye, forget her and grace...however, his other ones are also all amazing. i find myself thinking a lot these days about if he were still around...and gosh, he was so beautiful!
and i agree with stallion. you should also check out tim buckley. however, i do have to say that it took me a while to like his stuff.
also, you should all read Dream Brother: The Lives and Music of Jeff and Tim Buckley by David Browne. It's an amazing book and provides a lot of insight into both of their personal/musical lives as well as talks about the meanings behind a lot of the songs. i am in the process of reading it right now and it makes me appreciate them SO much more.
Now you just told me that friendship is all I'm forced to repair the breech in my wall Illusions and dreams, as usual, it seems Sabra girl, they've been my downfall
