I went to college with a few of them, and just wondered what other people thought of them. I have to admit, it was pretty exciting when I first saw them on VH1 a few years ago. They're super nice guys, although I haven't really talked to either of them after blowing up on their first national tour with the Stereophonics.
They're apparently touring with Maroon 5 & Counting Crows this fall.

Last year I was staying in Indianapolis on a business trip. Before I left to go to dinner, I noticed a tour bus in the hotel parking lot.
Several hours later (and about 10 beers) I got back to my room. When I looked out the window, I noticed some people standing around in front of the tour bus, so naturally, I went down to investigate...I wanted to see if it was someone really famous like the White Stripes or something.
I saw these guys hanging out in front of the bus so I went up and started talking to them, they said they were in a band called Augustana, who I had not heard of at the time, and that they were on tour. I chatted with them for 30 min. or so, they took my picture with a Polaroid and put it in their bus, plus they took another picture and I have it. They also gave me a couple of CD's.
All in all they were super nice and it was really cool to get meet and talk to them like that.
