NIN at Red Rocks this year!?!? Where did you hear this? Is this confirmed? I cant find these dates anywhere else... Oh man, I hope you are right, I am excited. I was so disappointed when I heard they wre prob at Lolla since I am already going to APW the next weekend, but this would make up for it for sure! THanks for the good news.
^^^The only way I see this happening is if they switch the format to sole headliners each night of the festival, a la Bonnaroo. But if they stick to the format, I would say the lineup will most likely look something like: Friday: NIN (main) vs. ??? Saturday: RATM (main) vs. ??? Sunday: Radiohead (main)
I just have this strange feeling that they will be the closer and Radiohead will play saturday. But yeah I think you are right the more I think about it. I honestly keep forgeting that RATM is playing.
Radiohead has to be the closer, I'd think... their most recent album is substantially more high profile than NIN's most recent... also, I think Radiohead appeals to a more broad audience than NIN, thus making them the ideal "headliner" of Lala.
I wonder what's up with the three day break in his schedule August 24th-26th. Is there a fest somewhere that weekend that he could be playing at? Otherwise it looks like a great spot to add a show for western PA in Pittsburgh or Erie.
