That really sucks!! I live an hour and a half from Asheville and April 22 (the night of the Asheville show) is my birthday. BUT, I already have 15th row tickets for Plant and Krauss in Knoxville the same night. I can't believe that there are two amazing shows really close by on my birthday this year (especially since it is on a Tuesday.)
Holy cow, this better not be some crazy April Fools joke because I just bought 2 tickets. I dont care if Chicago's 5 hours from me, I'll make the day trip there!
OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD.
They are coming to Asheville and it is when I am off from work. Holy Lord, I am so excited. And 10 dollar tickets? Unbelievable. My only complaint is no Billy Bragg...I really wish he would be with them. However, this show will be an absolute blast and I cannot wait to see Tom live for the third time. Thank you Bamabelle for the heads up, I love you.
thats freaken awesome.. just saw the list of all the guests, I am going to be at the asheville show!
edit: anyone know how these shows will work? Is this morello playing his solo stuff and bringing random guests, or so they all collab at once? another question there probably is no answer to, but are all the artists that were announced going to be on the tour the entire two weeks? i'm hoping to see maynard at the asheville show, because i have no clue how he fits into all this

Tom will be playing his solo set...and the "guests" will play sets, but will also "collaborate" all together at some point....usually at the end of the show for a finale all together....
And no, not ALL the "special guests" will be at all the shows...but they haven't...and probably won't...publish a confirmed list of who will be where on the tour.....and there will probably be some special "guests" that AREN'T listed in the press releases that just show up...I know that in the past Zack de la Rocha has shown up at some shows....Nuno Bettencourt...Billy Bragg as zdlr mentioned....you never know WHO will show up
And for a tener.....if even ONE of them shows....you get your moneys' worth in my book!

yes, yes, yes!
Just got my tickets for Tuesday here in LA, this show should be amazing, I mean seriously amazing. Being that RATM, and just about all of his "friends" are from this area, the guest list should be interesting to say the least. And for ten dollars, ten dollars!
Yaay! Video and Pix from LA too!! ;D ;D Thanks HooDoo!
Maybe it will work out better NOT getting to go to a show....I'll get to see some of ALL of them maybe! ;D Or at least a bunch of them! You guys are AWESOME!!

Here is what it says about the Asheville, show- looks like most of the big names are going to be skipping out:
*THE JUSTICE TOUR* Featuring The Nightwatchman & Special Guests: Shooter Jennings, Boots Riley of the Coup and Wayne Kramer of MC5.. Morello to partner with Just Economics for a day of activism and education
I'm not all that upset though, because seeing Tom live for 10 bucks will be awesome. By the way, I just saw the version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad" he did live with Bruce Springsteen...and oh my god, it was absolutely face melting.
