I really like it. I used to be into moe. a whole lot, a few years back. Like most Jambands, their studio albums just didn't seem to do them justice. This one is really good though. Might be their best studio album, IMO.

I just got it and I think it's going to grow on me, but there are one or two tracks I already love. Although to be honest it took a while for moe. to grow on me in the first place. Once I saw them live at Roo last year, I was hooked though.
It's growing on me the more I listen to it. I always find myself skipping to "Wind it Up" though. I think it may be my favorite song on the album. I haven't decided if I like it better than Wormwood though.
I just got into moe. after their roo performance last year. I downloaded the show and have play the crap outta that thing.
I have never heard any moe. studio work before The Conch so I can not comment on how it compares to past albums.
I agree it is hard to "get" a jamband through studio albums, but this one is really good. It was also cool to be able to pop it in and know some of the songs right off, due to listening to the roo d/l.

Same here. I got Tin Cans & Car Tires & No Doy after Roo last year and I love them both. You should check them out.
Tin Cans & Car Tires is a great album. A lot of classic moe. songs on that album. Dither isn't too bad either. As a whole though, I think Wormwood is my favorite.
No doy or Tin Cans and Car Tires have to be my favortie but The Conch is a really good album. Its nice to have BJ and Pizza and Down Boy and the like in a studio album

I'm impressed how moe.'s studio stuff is really great. A lot f jambands sometimes have issues with that. It isn't my personal favorite, but I like how it has a chill flow to the album, especially considering how much of a hard rock sound you hear at their shows.

Same story here. Love the COnch though. Its not typical moe. in how the album flows but I love it. My favorite track is Tubing the River Styx>The Pit (its two songs but they segue so whatever)

Just got it this past weekend after putting it off due to monetary issues and love it, I had already heard a good portion of it, but after hearing the whole thing, I really dig it. I think it is one of their better albums (along with my fav tin cans and car tires).
