An interesting album. When artists move towards a different genre I get nervous. However, The Third Hand came out pretty damn good. Although it isn't really hip-hop like his other work, the beats are still great and he has not disproved the fact that he still is one of the best producers. I'm going to see his show on the 20th, so I'll have to report back to everyone. Any other fans check it out? If not, I'd reccomend it. It's kind of like Radiohead mixed with hip-hop. Almost reminds me of Thom Yorke's Eraser.

Thanks for that post. I liked the album, but it's too early to say how the show going to be. I think alot of people are saying the show wasn't that great, but personally I don't know how great of stage presence he could have....HE'S A DJ. But anyways, I'll just wait and see.........
well, just cause he is a dj doesnt mean he cant have a sick stage presence. checking out the girl talk set at roo is all u'll need to change ur mind. personally i like rj's older stuff better i feel as though he is better at making hiphop and there was no need for him to play every intstrument on the new album, "jack of all trades, master of none"
