Ok yes I know its part of the evil establishment that is Viacom/MTV
But I just got URGE not too long ago and was wondering if anyone else had a monthly subscription download service whether it be URGE or zune or whatever and had any info/qualms/watever to say about it... I'm just getting familiar with it
I use eMusic and I love it. My monthly d/l's always go in the first few days. Independent labels only, but less than half the price of iTunes with no DRM.
25 free d/ls available with no obligation for new members.
karma for having www.magnatune.com/ on your list. I 've discovered a lot to like there.
Check it out if you haven't - indie artists...every album on the site may be listened to in its entirety and, should you choose to buy one, you decide what you want to pay for it ($5 minimum) with 50% of it going directly to the artist.
...and they encourage you to share it with 3 friends!
edit: ^I agree with emusic for subscription service

I used eMusic for a bit, really liked it, only reason I canceled is cause I found a lot of good stuff so I would just go by the album anyway and spend more. I guess you could say it was just too good.
