This album is awesome. The kind of thing Pitchfork, jam-band fans and certainly the Bonnaroo crowd can all agree on.
Electric, experimental, atmospheric, almost jammy. They can really play guitar and drums and stuff too. Reminds me of !!!, Talking Heads, West African music among other things (mostly instrumental though).
Definitely one of the things I'm most looking forward to at Pitchfork.

This album is INCREDIBLE. I've been listening to it daily for almost a month now (yea, bittorrent leaks!). I'm lucky enough to have them playing at a bar near me on july 18th. Bet your ass i'll be there.

awesome, have fun killer bee relay team, i saw them at the first unitarian church in philly a few months ago and it was a grade-a show. everything i expected, and more. so intense!
I am just starting in on this album, and it is good stuff. I always like hearing some sort of different sound that you've never heard before. And they actually make it melodic, which is a bonus.
They are coming to Atlanta during the Roo, which is a bummer. You win some, you lose some.

Man, I used to live in Philly...The UNI was a pretty cool place to see bands.
What's the deal with unitarian churches being cool venues?
I saw the Empty Bottle set from Chicago on Youtube...totally badass.

I'm sick over the ATL show. I totally would have been there. Of course I would also be at the opening night of Rush tomorrow night too, but I digress. John Stanier is a bad-ass. This album is the bomb. And that is all. Hehe.
