Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am always up for hearing new music, which is one of the reasons why I love going to Bonnaroo. I figure I would start a thread that allows us to post things we love right now and that you would reccoemed for others to listen to.
I will kick off the tread with Vampire Weekend's A- Punk. If it wasn't for the Langerado lineup this year, I would probably not have checked these guys.

The Format- Dog Problems The album's been stuck in my head for 2 days now... Beatles meets Queen, doing a spitefully acidic breakup album, set to happy-go-lucky-rockin' orchestral pop? I don't know, I hate to use words to generalize these things- great stuff though!

great... I just got off my Format addiction last month after a solid 3 or 4 months of constantly listening to that album, and with that description (highly accurate, i might add) I just have to listen to it again. Thanks, bud...

For those who love The Format - Dog Problems, make sure you check out Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. He did nearly all the arrangements, and many of the keyboards, on that album. He was a founding member/songwriter for Jellyfish (DEFINITELY get to know them if you don't already), and he released his solo debut last year, which is some excellent orchestral pop itself.
I'm listening to "Back in Love Again" by off of Jerry Douglas' newest album Best Kept Secret, and it's great! It has Alison Kraus on vocals. It definetly seems more rockish/bluesish/popish than the bluegrass territory the two usually tread.

If you have never seen him live, you are in for a treat! His show at Roo blew me away in 2006.
My most listened to tracks atm are:
Portions for Foxes - Rilo Kiley Metatron - The Mars Volta Goliath - The Mars Volta Supermassive Black Hole - Muse Given To Fly - Pearl Jam (live at the Gorge)
