So, Trent released a new album today, very post-rock genre feel to it. All instrumental, reminds me a lot of Godspeed You!'s Infinity album.

I could definitely hear this late night before/after Sigur Ros.

Yeah it was very cool this morning to wake up and find out this was available. Im about half way through my first listen and im really digging it, I would say that if your a big fan of "The Fragile" then you should really like this record. It would be so awsome to see Trent at the Roo sometime in the future!

The Fragile is my favorite album ever by any artist.

This is freaking great... such a pleasant surprise from Mr. Reznor... I knew he was doing something for us... he had a reference to "2 more weeks" or something in his website. This is what that is... and I couldn't be happier.

Yeah, Soundtrack To Daydreams... it's seriously good. I knew he was gonna let us know something, or give us INFO on a new album, or at the most a few tracks.... BUT A 2 DISC INSTRUMENTAL SET?!?!?!

I love Trent Reznor... he's taken his sweet ass time at points through his career, but he's spoiling his hard core fans, now.

Yes, this was a very pleasant surprise. Went to his site with knowledge of him working on secret things (I thought it was the Spiral/NIN.com combination site) to find the album avaliable.

It is amazing.

A 10 week project, no hard thinking, and just pure music making. They originally thought it would be a 6 disk EP and turned in to this.
Now just to wait for my stuff in the mail
