I loved 'em in the 90's...Scott Weiland just got the boot from Velvet Revolver (who I never got, anyway), so why not? Too rockin? Hell, if Metallica can come, why not?
...and why not? They had alot of good music, had their own sound, popular w/people my age (36)...I know it won't transpire, but who said Bonnaroo had to be exclusively hippy-trippy? I dig jam bands, but it's nice to be able to rock out, too....

I loved STP...Wouldnt mind seeing them at Roo sometime. Way to big an add for this year, but I think they would be a better fit then Metallica...although I am excited for that show!
you could catch them at voodoo fest in new orleans. i think that would be more of the atmosphere that you'd catch them in, but that's not to say that it can't happen at 'roo.
