Anyone else looking forward to the new Weepies album April 22? This kind of stuff is usually a bit mellow for my tastes, but I can't resist The Weepies.
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
I have grown to like the Weepies over the 4 years I have been dating my girlfriend. I even got a chance to see and meet them a couple time. Really nice folks. I am not sure if she picked up the new CD yet, but once she does I will let you know what I think about it.
Been listening to them for years and have to say I'm extremely excited for the new album. I think it was this month's issue of Paste that had a cool article on them. Check it out.
