John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Don't feel bad Mikearoo, I don't know who in the hell they are talking about half the time, but I fake it real good ;D And I get on i-tunes and the internet and my local used record stores and hunt for the stuff and I have found more great music because of these inforoo guys
And yes on the Stooges, even though the new stuff is not as good as Fun House
You know, there's just something almost, I won't say Un-American cause that sounds too much like that pseudo-patriotic crap that the politicos use to get us to think personal freedom is a "Bad Thing" - but something un-musical-pioneering-appreciative (I KNOW that is not even an adjective let alone a word - LOL!) about voting no on the Iggy....he's a music icon. And just so darn entertaining to watch - you never know WHAT he might do.... ;D So I say, bring on the Stooges! A good rousing version of "Down On The Street" would be great!

To bring the band that gave birth to all that is Punk Rock to Bonnaroo would make me very happy... if Roo is ever going to bring Punk to their stages, what better way than to do it by booking a true legend who has never (IMO) dried up... an emphatic YES to Iggy and the Stooges ;D
