That looks pretty cool. Buddy Guy is another one I was really disapointed about missing at the Vibes. I did see Robert Randolf this summer, and he did cover Jimi quite well. I saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd a bunch of years ago and was quite impressed. If anyone can pull it off, these guys can. HELL YES!!!!

^^^true, but it is a tribute that does include the bassist and drummer from the original band, and there are several Roo favorites in the lineup... I think this particular tribute does seem to go a little bit beyond the label (in my humble opinion of course)
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

Actually no. Noel Redding was the original bassist. Billy Cox was the bassist for Band of Gypsys.

My bad... thanks for the correction! Anyway, my point still holds
Oh, and regarding the 5 dates thing... I read somewhere that it all depends............................................................. (and even so, Roo would make a great 6th one, no?)

Good point. Not to mention the fact they do have a pretty good following. I forgot how they had Mitch on the drums.
