Yeah, those peeps freak me out a little bit, too. I do enjoy some of their music . . . until it makes my teeth start to ache because of the sap.
I saw them earlier this year and they played most of the show in those army uniforms, but they came out in the robes for the encore. Fear not - the robes have not been packed away for good yet -
Never seen them live, but they seem cool through the clips I've watched. Seems like a nice little light concert, I'd be up for it if something I was seriously into wasn't playing.
I was pretty excited to check them out at Echo. They did not disappoint one bit. What a great afternoon set. It was just a whole lot of fun. And their cover of Nirvana's Lithium was nothing short of spectacular. ;D
