John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Talk about an act that I'd drop all to go see. Lord God, yes! I have only heard a few of his live bootlegs, and I dig, but I am a die hard fan of the studio stuff, his other aliases included. Any links to more good live material, so as to get more familiar with it?
To cut myself from a rant, Mr. James is one of my all time favorite experimental composers, not just electronic. This would be a dream to see.

^^^Well put! I was so impressed this year by the way in which they reached to the heart of jazz. They got great artists steeped in the tradition, and artists who were GOOD, not just who would appeal to the jamband crowd. I would love to see them do the same with electronic music, and I think Aphex Twin is the obvious place to start.
