I don't think i've heard any of the new stuff but agreed, they should move on. Being a huge fan I see it as blatant disrespect really, i'm sure its good, but get a new name and stop riding Hoon's baby for all its worth.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

I'll see them at Langerado. Then, I will be able to decide whether or not I want to see them again or not. I'm anxious to see them this Spring tho... not gonna lie.

we're going to try to check them out at the nashville show... i'm a huge blind melon fan, have been since high school... i think that cd was the first one i bought that i could listen to all the way through over and over again... i think i'm on at least my 4th cd now from wearing them out...
as far as shannon no longer being with us, it's a shame, but i believe that keeping the band going will keep his memory alive... just my 2 cents
as far as being able to participate in a sing-a-long of "tones of home" at bonnaroo... uh, count me in. shit, any song of that first album would be amazing to hear live.
i dont see it as disrespectful... i mean, he is dead. i think it's worse to do nothing and let the music fade away.
