In 2004 Page and the spam allstars tore up 2004 late night at the ROO. If you went this year and didnt see them, well you missed the best late night non-headliner of that year. They played 2 sets, 8 songs a set, they had everyone with their hands in the air, and they havent been to thr Roo since. So do you want them for 2008?

Well who said No then if thier was only 2 replys, you must not of been their in 04, yea steve it would be some newer stuff too, tough they still have spacey jams and piano solo's. Also explain why you would want them back, or not want them their.

^^^Not to be a jerk, but I'm having trouble parsing through your writing. I think you're asking me to explain my vote, is that correct? I was there in '04 and I think they were great. I still listen to that boot. But the way I see it, with every year the late night spots are getting more and more desirable, and as such they should go to artists of more importance, prominence, or whatever you want to call it. But mainly it's because they already played late night. I think there is a very, very small number of artists who should be asked to play late night a second time (Lips was one of them, MMW would be another IMO).
They rocked last time they were there. It was so packed I was dancing around the playground in any form Page needs to come back and by the way I miss the playground they need to make a new one.

Steve, It was just a great show for me, and it made me realize you dont have to be at the biggest act to see a kick as band. Also they havent been on the road since winter of 04. If they played the same time slots as Flimps I would still go see 1 of Vida's sets. If MMW played at night at the Roo, well i dont know then. I just want to see bands that have people wanting more music. Mars Volta showed this when they did their late night show in 05.

I hear ya, it would be a treat to see them re-formed. Of course that's the other concern: with Page touring for his solo album, I doubt Vida Blue will be taken off the shelf any time soon. Not that one can't dream...
