When i saw them at Virgin, at least two of the new songs broke the momentum (snooze)during an otherwise fantastic show I doubt he'd do it without the headline slot... it wouldn't be my first choice, but I'll say maybe, cause it would still be fun
No, if only because Corgan needs to move on. SP is dead. People going to the concerts are Corgan fans. I like Corgan, but I don't want to shell out an extra $25 to see him play Pumpkins tunes just because he puts together a show and calls it the Smashing Pumpkins.

NAY. I love the pumpkins, but after seeing them at Voodoo... their set wasn't that great. Honestly. Not very exciting, and kind of a let down.. so I would not want Superfly to book them as a bigger headliner when they could give another better festival band a chance

yes.. I was so pumped and super excited to see THE Smashing Pumpkins.. but they didn't bring the "THE" if you know what I mean.. so no Roo for them please...
Just saw them a couple week ago and they were AMAZING. I know James and D'arcy aren't in the band anymore, but the new guys (and gals) are more than capable. Bill Corgan's still a narcissist, but who cares when a band's as tight as they are?
