GD cover band and if you have never heard of them look them up right now. They would be a perfict Thrusday act, they are really good and I have seen them over 13 times. So do yall think the are a roo fit or not.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

i was thinking about this just a few days ago, i think it'd be best if they played on thursday, maybe as the jam headliner, like tea leaf green this past year, and if we don't get the actual dead, phil, bobby, or rhythm devils, then DSO needs to be there, you just gotta have some dead at a place like bonnaroo, i've only seen them twice, but man if you just close your eyes, you almost think that it is the grateful dead up there, they do such a great job with the music, and their looks - some of them even come close to resembling a few of the members - specifically jerry and bobby, hell, they may even be good enough for a latenight show friday or saturday in one of the tents
I'd rather not have any tribute bands at the 'Roo. They could use the spot normally designated for one to book someone who actually makes their own music
