It would make my year if they played Roo. It would be as huge for me as Tool playing Roo. It's been debated before here many times but I still think they would be a great fit - not just for their music but for what they stand for and the kind of people they are.
I've seen them and they're great live, so I say yes. However, I can also see why some people don't dig them. Then again, it is bonnaroo, so even if someone didn't like them they could always go see someone else. =)

I love Incubus, but I don't think I would love them playing at roo.. I'd still get excited of course, but Incubus is a really cool band to see at the House of Blues.. not Bonnaroo

Funny, I was just replying to this thread...
What I saw of them at Virgin Fest kind've baited me. Wandered over cause there was nothing else at the moment, and they grabbed me off guard, heard a lot of Floyd swirlies, went nice with the corn, much trippier than I thought they would be. Yeah, I'd make my rounds and at least check out part of their set...
ok, so the whole time I am writing that, there is this god-awful song on my radio. Just as i finish, the DJ says... "That was Incubus!"
so now I have to add... Incubus, if you come, please don't play whatever THAT song was, or anything remotely like it... if I had heard THAT song at Virgin, well my opinion would be very different right now. I could see them working really well with lasers though, but then that would fill up a valuable latenight slot... could make cornflicts easier though, I mean latenight, you'd either you need to be at the Incubus show, or you wouldn't right?
I guess, as far as Incubus at Roo is concerned, I vote not bad or good, just indifferent... yet, I would be happy with a little dish of that loud Floyd swirly stuff
What was wrong with A Crow Left Of The Murder? I think that was the album where they really found their sound.
I would personally love to see them. They have some really unique things going on, and they are all talented musicians. Those of you who don't want to see them, I'd advise you to watch the 3-way percussion jam on the song "Vitamin" from their Alive At Red Rocks DVD, or the jam on the song "Sick Sad Little World".
