Very good band to play bonnaroo, saw them play twice this last weekend at Bear Creek. The trombone player also played with Skerik (fancy band and numerous others) during a late night Dumpstafunk show on Saturday. I would love to catch these guys again if they came through.
Also is it just me or is the southeast really the new hotspot for a lot of upcoming bands. There are countless amounts of great bands cropping up and making a name for them here. Hopefully roo shows its love the south and have a dedicated local stage of local (local for roo could mean the southeast) smaller acts. That would be a party in itself and really establish bonnaroo as not only a great festival, but a name maker for giving a lot of local bands national exposure.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
