Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Violent Femmes have an extensive catalog, and aren't afraid to bring in elements outside their three-piece roster for live shows. They've kept me coming back for a total of eleven shows, and I think they'd be a great fit.

IIRC, the bassist just filed a suit against Gordon over one of their songs appearing in a Taco Bell commercial (or something equally ridiculous). I'd love to see them, but I don't think they're on those kind of terms right now.

It was "Blister in the Sun" in a Wendy's commercial. So yeah, I don't think they're playing any shows anytime soon, at least not with the origional bassist. But in a more perfect world where they were not having problems they'd be great for Bonnaroo, esp. w/ Eugene Chadbourne and Camper Van Beethoven in tow.

They've retired from making albums and exclusively play live these days.
From what I understand about the Brian Ritchie/Gordon Gano Wendy's ad dispute: Brian filed suit not because he disputed Gordon owning the rights to a song he owns, but over who he sold the rights to and for what purposes. I've read that he's angry that it's Wendy's - Brian considers himself "a gourmet" while Gordon himself is a vegetarian. It hasn't broken up the band. They are still cordial to each other. While they're not friends, per se, the band has continued on in a working relationship. In other words, they still play shows together.

saw them live a couple months ago, the bassist walked off stage during blister in the sun. but for the rest of the show, he seemed to be having as much fun as any other time i'd seen them.
