You cheeky bastard. I'm giving you karma now for your excellent, from-left-field artist nomination, and an IOU for more later for your clever, "Pet Sounds"-themed choices.
Wow...never even thought of that possibility. That would be AMAZING. Although I acknowledge that a lot of people out there don't get the Beach Boys. I believe someone took a shit in their ice cream sundae when they were a kid, permanently stealing the joy from their hearts...
Yes, I saw him a few years ago at Jazzfest. Excellent show. He has assembled a great band. Everyone plays an instrument and sings. Very good harmonies.
I think he would be a great late Sunday afternoon show. Same time slot as David Byrne a few years ago. I have always wished for Brian Wilson at the Roo.
i saw him a few years ago when he was playing the entirety of SMILE and it was wonderful. the only thing that i didn't like was that the show sort of made me sad because he has to read his lyrics off of a computer screen. i felt really bad for him...

I think he's be a blast. Almost saw him a couple months ago promoting his new album That Lucky Old Sun, but it was too expensive. It wouldn't be the sort of show people talked about for years, but he's a living legend and that's enough.
I saw that SMiLE tour in 04. It was opening season of the city's new arts center, and I had tix in the 2nd row so I was about 15-20ft away from him the whole time. Amazing. While there was no teleprompter, he did have a music stand... probably for the same purpose.
Are you kidding? How could I pass on an opportunity to see one of the greatest songwriters of all time?! There's always more room for some extra "Good Vibrations" at Bonnaroo!
