That looks like a thursday night headliner if I've ever seen one. I was rooting for them to get a late night, but i'll take some freakin' panic whenever I can get it!!!

^^I could accept it if they played Thursday to open the festie up... But I'm personally holding on to high hopes of having a Sunday headliner this year that screams "don't you dare even think about leaving early! Take a walk down Shakedown this evening instead!"

Think about it
Thursday - Widespread Panic Friday - Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band/Pearl Jam Saturday - Led Zeppelin Sunday - The Dead/Allman Brothers/David Bowie/??????
Anyway you look at it, great weekend. But Bruce will be in Europe the Monday after Bonnaroo.. But time will tell. I'm just enjoying corn and letting my imagination rumble
Oh and everyone knows that WSP is coming out w/ a new album in January.

If there is a Thursday night headliner, it should be someone who will open the set off with a band, not a long drawn-out whimper. I'm not saying anyone as big as the weekend headliners, but someone who will really get the energy and excitement level up! The slower, mellow-out jam bands are best for the end of the weekend, when all the energy is gone.

^^karma to you for that. i have a feeling some spreadhead will smite you for that comment so i figured i'd go ahead and give you karma to cancel it out, lol <3
I could care less, honestly.... I know people love them, and allot of people think that they are over kill to the definition, but I have no problem with it.
I actually was planning on seeing them last year, but after the Ornette Coleman incident, we were slightly bummed, and went back to camp after screwing around near White Stripes. But we sat at our camp and partied all night/morning, listening to WSP's set, and it sounded fine to me.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I don't care how many times a band plays....if they are good....Panic was a huge let down for me this year....made me wish I had booked my return flight that night instead of the next morning.
The White Stripes should have closed the show....they were about a billion times more entertaining/fun than Panic...which just felt like a bad after party.
I know I know....more negative karma for me....whatever.

I didnt stay for the Panic, but White Stripes ruled.
I'm hoping for the thursday headline spot. Or late night. That would be sickkkk. But if they go t a late night they will probably end up being in the same time frame as someone else i havent seen and want to. i.e. Daft Punk Allman Brothers/Derek Trucks band Primus

I actually went to their set and had a great time. But I would rather see someone else next year. I don't want WSP to be Superfly's "jam band" act all the time.
