Didn't think i'd make one of these, but who does. Rush is sweet, and I think it'd be sweet if they'd headline. Definitely would put on a better show than both The Police or Tom Petty in my opinion. These three guys got some serious skills.
Not big enough to headline Bonnaroo, too big to be a secondary act, so I don't think it would ever happen. I put them in the same category as Yes or Genesis or ZZ Top (suggested in another thread). They'd just make it harder to sell tickets. Just my opinion though...

I'm with you in the minority, ziggy: Rush is sweet, they rock live, and they are what Bonnaroo needs. Not my first choice, but I'd be totally content to see them on the bill.

This is how i feel. Rush wouldn't be my first choice either, but they undeniably put on a solid show, unlike The Police unfortunately, and they're a pretty historic band.
I'm definitely down with it. Seen 'em 4 times in 3 different decades ('78, '81, '88, '92) and they always put on a great show.
And Neil Peart is an amazing drummer (and not a bad author. His book "Ghost Rider" is pretty good.) Geddy Lee is also pretty amazing. And Alex can hold his own, too.
Side note: The 1st time I ever corned out was to Rush"2112".
