*shakes cobwebs out of head, then checks to see if am reading right* ... Huh? Oh, Snoop Dog. Uh, no. I don't want any drive-by shootings on the East Coast in the field.
Seriously, though, I'm sure it would be a blast, and at any other venue, I'd be all for it. But something about that doesn't seem right...
Well, Cypress Hill worked fine, from what I hear... so I guess it would be ok. Damned long shot, though.

I've been waiting for this one. I know that alot of folks will think he'd bring an unwelcome "gangsta" vibe to Roo but, let's get real people, Snoop's about as gangsta as me these days. Sure, his music may still be laced with the oldschool imagery but, his music is ALL about the party! And is there a bigger party than Roo? I think not.
GZA was at Echo project. When he came on stage and the bass kicked in I was sitting on the ground. I could feel it rise up and shake my innards... crazy.
Normally I'd be all over this as I love me some Snoop D-O-Double-G. But, having seen him open for RHCP several years back, I thought the fun of his albums just didn't show up in his live show. Maybe it was the venue or the RHCP fans, but I wasn't feeling it.

i think you'd see a smoke cloud envying the Ben Harper cloud from this year... and you'd be feeling it...
