plus i'm a sucker for those older acts like james taylor, paul simon, csny, the band, and chicago. they definetly planted some roots...

I gotta go with this. Wayyyy past their prime. Love Chicago. But I shelled out a few to see them a few years ago and walked out after the second song. You would probably do the same.
