I wanted to hate this band for a long time based on nothing more than the belief that they were a shitty, over-hyped, "MTV" band (hadn't ever listened to them), but I've really come to love their album "Sam's Town" I saw them at Echo and thought they put on a really fun, energetic show. I think they'd fit in nicely at Bonnaroo. Any takers?

I'm gonna be in the minority on this one but Brandon Flowers is an amazing pop song writer. I'm not saying I buy the records but when a song comes on the radio ... I tend to turn it up. Not one of my favorites but I could see them there. And didn't they play Vegoose already?
i'm down, although i hear they are not extraordinary live, but eh, if there is no one else to fill the slot, bring'em on...i enjoy some of their tunes...it doesn't matter to me that they are always on the radio or mtv or whatever...i tend to not listen to either...
They were at Echo Project and it was a really energetic performance. I loved both Hot Fuss & Sam's Town. IMO it's one of the best "MTV" bands out there.
I'd be for it... but not necessarily bummed if they weren't
A very fun live band and responsible for some great music.
Their MTV adoration has been pretty limited, really. Once "Mr. Brightside" fizzled out, each single to follow has gotten less and less attention. I don't see them at Roo this year, if only because they don't seem to have anything new in the hopper and it just doesn't seem like an ideal time.

Yeah, I think if you're on MTV you get a bad reputation on here. That's just based on what I read here, I don't actually get MTV. ???

I really do love the Killers but I have heard from numerous people that they are so-so live.
SO, I would check them out for sure, but if the set wasn't too great I would walk off and find something else to do. Maybe that'd be the perfect time for the Arcade Tent!
