Kid Koala opened for Cut Chemist & DJ Shadow last week, and I wanted to ask him what Deltron would be up to this year, but didn't get a chance to talk to him. But on stage he said, "So my friend Chemist called me up and asked what I was doing this year, and I said, uhh, nothing, so he asked me to come on tour with him and Shadow." I thought that was odd, no mention of Deltron or anything else for that matter. It may not mean anything, but I just wanted to mention it. They were on the original leaked Coachella lineup, though. I'm guessing they'll get added, then we could expect them at 'roo.
His alias isn't "Deltron 3030." It's Del tha Funky Homosapien. And to be honest yall... he isn't that good live =/ At least when i went to his show he had mike realm warm up, so that made the night better than what it turned out to be.
Deltron 3030, was a concept album that he made and he doesn't really perform it live (besides a few songs).
P.S.
Maybe he should come out with some kind of animated movie for the album (like Daft Punk & Interstella) and host a tour where it plays in the background with a corresponding light show, etc.... THEN, he would be roo worthy!

^^^WTF? Deltron 3030 is a group, consisting of Del, Kid Koala and Dan the Automator. They released an eponymous album in 2000, and are almost finished recording a new album, "Deltron Event II". Not at all sure where you got your false info from, and I'm sorry you didn't like Del live, but I'd still be thrilled to see Deltron 3030 (note: THE GROUP) live.
Fer sha... 3030 is easily one of the most epic hip-hop albums of all time and afro-futurism at its finest, I've seen Del many times live with varying degrees of success, but when he rips sh*t he rips sh*t (even when the record skips).... after the album came out deltron 3030 did a full on tour, I actually have a show live at first avenue in minneapolis.... its a great show and its out there if you look for it. I have been searching all over for updated info on Deltron Event II, but I can't find anything worthy at all. Basically Kid Koala has finished recording the tables, and Dan the Auto has finished with the beats, but we're still waiting on Del's vox (there are claims his computer crashed and he lost most of it).... Hopefully it will come out this year with a supporting tour including bonnaroo!!!
