They probably won't be at Roo this year, but without a doubt, yes. Their music is tailormade for Bonnaroo, whether people want to believe it or not. And Robert Smith's vox are as good as anyone's out there.
Given them chances in the past, listened to a handful of albums.... don't hate 'em , but definitely don't like that much them either.I do, however, have a few friends who think it's like god on tape. That said, I dunno how The Cure at Roo would work out.
From what I gather, this will never happen again. Something happened on the reunion tour, and the band is pretty much done. They're releasing their last album and calling it quits for good.
^^^Nah man, I feel you there...I was extremely tempted to go see them open for NIN on that NIN/Bauhaus/TV on the Radio tour. But for one reason or another, I skipped it. Which means I missed stuff like this:
I know people have been saying that the cure is not big enough to be thew Sat headliner, but if fri and sun are big then it could happen. This is an amazing show and I would be overjoyed
