Not all these acts do I think would be a bad live show (Chumbawumba or Wham!, for instance). I voted for Ashlee because I can only assume her live show will be rife with lip-synching snafus.

Gotta stick up for Chumbawamba. They made alot of exciting, revolutionary music in their heyday, and it sucks that people judge them based on one catchy, if overplayed, pop song.
I like Ted too. Well I like him when he shuts up and plays his guitar. Can you imagine him as a pre-headliner on the What Stage before The Allman Bros. or Phil and Friends?
I'd find a way to blow out my ear drums if I had to listen to a Toby Keith set.
As for other bands, I could list a million
Fall Out Boy My Chemical Romance Green Day this stupid Airbourne band I keep on hearing (AC/DC sucked the first time around, fellas) AC/DC, for that matter Nickelback
I actually saw My Chemical Romance like 3 years ago. It was a total last minute thing, and I only went because I was bored and some friends were going.
One of the worst shows I've ever seen. Their frontman is an absolute nutjob.

I can assure you Ashlee Simpson does not lip-synch at her live shows. Back in 05, my friend & I signed up for tix to see her through the local alternative weekly paper's free ticket giveaway - as a joke, of course. We told each other if one of us won, we'd both go. And I won, so the joke was on us and we went.
She does sing by herself at her shows, although I've heard karaoke performed at similar caliber. By the third song in, she was doing a cover. On the plus side: - her audience is really short so you can see quite alright from the back of the crowd. - lines to get drinks move really fast, since barely anyone is 21+. Unfortunately, getting through that show took plenty of drinks.

That being said, I voted for Toby Keith.
simply wow...
I guess the bitch can't get away with that crap since she got popped on SNL
I also once won a pair of Scott Stapp tix under the same joking pretenses. I should've learned my lesson before that. Fortunately, that same friend who braved the Ashlee show with me won Ben Folds tickets that same night from the same site so I didn't have to go through that ordeal.

nothing pisses me off more than when people try to compare creed to pearl jam.
