I become less and less of a Flips fan as time goes by, but I still must admit that "Soft Bulletin" is one of the 20 or so best albums of the 90's.

It is a truly great album, and I can confidently say that Flips hit their peak with that one. The others would follow in this order...

2. Transmissions From Satellite Heart
3. Clouds Taste Metallic
4. Zaireeka
5. In A Preist Driven Ambulance

i chose In A Priest Driven Ambulance because most of my favorite flips songs are on their. unconsciously screaming, shine on sweet jesus, raining babies, mountain side, lucifer rising, and god walks among us now.

bulletin, yoshimi, and transmissions are way up there too.

Very easy... Hit to Death... Halloween on the Barbary Coast is by far my favorite of everything they have ever recorded... Providing Needles for your Balloons is a close second, Transmissions, Priest Driven, anything that came before Soft Bulletin... that is my favorite Lips

I like the drums a lot on this album. Kinda a mix of Punk/Ska with a bunch of Flaming lips?

I was at FLips hoping to hear something from that CD at the show, but there bright lights drove me to the Mule'. lol

I feel exactly the same way, just I would switch ur number 1 and 2
