He has a strong voice but his songs are pretty weak overall. They're geared to be radio hits which they accomplish. He put on a free show last spring a block from where I was working so I stayed for it. It was better than I expected. He covered Black by Pearl Jam and it was actually pretty good. Not my thing and definitely not for Bonnaroo but he's still much better than Nickelback...
