Keep three things in mind: 1. Daft Punk played in the last Vegoose which is run by AC and Superfly 2. Kanye West and Daft Punk seem to get along extremely well, especially so after the joint Grammy performance 3. Kanye's summer tour includes a light show made by the same people who created Daft Punk's pyramid
Now, I know this may be wishful thinking, but... discuss.

from what they have said i dont see anything to indicate that they will be on tour this or anytime soon. i could be wrong but i doubt we see them anytime next year either. wasnt there 06 coachella show their first in quite some time..or was it just in the US? anyway..i really dont see it. if it is though that could push me to buy my ticket...i just want to see the pyramid one more time.

ok well, i have a sneaking suspicion that they will be there because of these two things:
ONE: before they announced the lineup, someone claiming to be in the disco biscuits camp said that the biscuits, MSTRKRFT, AND daft Punk would be there, and as you know, the frst two have been announced.
and TWO: before vegoose last october, a message appeared on the BONNAROO page stating this: Daft Punk last pyramid performance at vegoose ?!?!?!
now my point being, why would they put question marks behind something like that if they weren't planning on using it?
also remeber that superfly organizes both festivals.

They're still a bit obscure as far as a wide fan base goes. That is not to say anything against the quality of music and live shows that they put on. If AC/Superfly both called the announcement "big", and made stubhub the "official reseller" of tickets (this hasn't been done before), this announcement is likely to be atom-splitting. We know that the AC/Superfly people tell us that they don't pay much attention to other festival's headliners, but we all know that they want Bonnaroo to continue to be THE music festival of the continent. Does anyone know how many slots are left to fill?

It looks like about three to five. We already know The Whigs, Datarock, and now Adele are some of those slots.
That would suck though, because then I would have to skip the headliner to be front row center for them. Daft Punk, doing ONE LAST pyramid show? That would fucking rock.
Would love it. But I don't see it happening. Prove me wrong Superfly!
Agreed, don't see it, they've stated they are done touring for the moment. Look for them in '09!
I cant find it right now, but I read an article to this affect, that they pretty much are not going to tour in 08 and they hinted that they will be back in America sometime in 09 because of the success of their 07 tour. so yeah, very unlikely they will be added
