Has anyone used Pandora.com? I am becoming hooked to that site for listening to music while I slave away in my cube farm. Basically, it is a streaming radio station that you can customize. You put in the name of a song or artist in the field, and it plays that song, or a song by that group. Then, based on that song, it plays other songs that it thinks you will like . If you like the song, hit "thumbs up", if not, "thumbs down". Based on what you pick, it formulates other songs down the line to play for you. Very cool, because I can just let it play, and every now and again, I rediscover a nice little jewel of a song that I had forgotten about or hadn't heard in a very long time!
Sorry, but I felt I needed to shamelessly plug this website!!

Yeah, Pandora.com has been discussed around here previously. I love it as well, and have mad respect for what they do over there. I keep telling people to check out their podcasts as well, which are fascinating and informative-- and very brief, usually less than 10 minutes. Good call!

Yeah-I have several different genre stations ive made-depending on my mood.
Im a teacher and turned (upper school) onto it. They love it. I only let them work with it sometimes, and dont let them screw around with it. They do that part at home. I let them listen to it depending on what we are doing-they work much better with it-just like I do.
I really like pandora.com and have discovered a lot of new songs thanks to it. I have a lot of stations created, and like candystriper, i pick which one i listen to based on my mood. right now i'm listening to my "MGMT Radio".
