For me, the big announcement is Les Claypool. Then you throw in What Made Milwaukee Famous? Maybe it's just that I didn't need any additions at all to be excited about Bonnaroo.

Maybe I was a bit more realistic in thinking that Zep or Pink Floyd wasn't going to be added. And I guess maybe I am a bit more excited since this is my first roo and have never seen WSP. But all in all, these additions are solid and stay true to the roots of Bonnaroo......the very roots that people in the beginning were complaining about when Metallica was announced. I'm thrilled to see Grand Ole Party too....they fucking ROCK! Saw them last week open for Rogue Wave in Boston.

Yep. They absolutely rocked when I saw them last Friday open up for Rogue Wave in Boston (at Roo too!!!!!!). The woman in the band is the lead singer AND the drummer! Groovy basslines, good guitar riffs, and an overall rockin sound.

I am excited for Bonnaroo no matter what. I'm poor and won't be able to buy my ticket for another 10 days or so and I had nightmares about Zeppelin being added and me being locked out of Bonnaroo AND the first N.American LZ performance in almost 30 years due to a quick sellout. That would have been devastating. At least I still get to go so I'm thankful for that. No Allmans is a real bummer but I'll finally get the chance to see Les...that is if I have time between the million other sets I'm preparing to see.

I'm really happy for you, and for everyone else here. Believe me, I'm as disappointed and straight up pissed as anyone, but it is comforting to know that fellow Inforoosters have had some prayers answered. Keep those spirits up!
