Hey guys.......so after the big announcement ( I consider it big....even though some are disappointed ) I got to thinking about Panic. See, to me they are one of those bands that I KNOW are good and have heard amazing things and such. I have just never gotten into em.....not because I dont like them but because I don't know where to begin or what albums to go for.
So help me out. Sort of like the album recommendation thread except....introduce me to Widespread Panic. Others can use this thread as well. I've been watching vids on youtube but want to get some albums and give them a shot this year. I know i'll probably like them (I'm a huge fan of almost anything at Bonnaroo).
Any help?
Also while we're at it.....i'm not too familiar with Pearl Jam. Any thoughts on where to begin so I can be ready at Bonnaroo?

my favorite Panic album is "Aint Life Grand" i know others probably disagree..but thats what i would recommend.
as for PJ...besides the obvious "ten" and "Vs"...i would say go for No Code (a lot different than any of thier other stuff). the best bet would be to grab one of thier bootlegs they released (search for the State College,PA show...that will give you everything you need to get introduced to them.)
or go get the Imagine in Cornice DVD...that is sick,.

PM me. I can send you some live Pearl Jam, which is the best way to go with them! They are sooooooooooo much better live (their albums are good too, don't get me wrong.)
