As recently determined by a business magazine using data from the last Census:
1. Madison, WI 2. Washington D.C. 3. San Jose, CA 4. Bridgeport-Stamford, CT 5. Boston, MA 6. San Francisco-Oakland, CA 7. Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN 8. Raleigh, NC 9. Seattle, WA 10. Colorado Springs, CO
Dead last among the 100 largest U.S. cities was McAllen-Edinburg, TX - where 36% of the population are high school drop-outs.
Their research was on the hundred largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. Technically, Minneapolis & St. Paul are separate cities too, but they make up one metro area.
ooh, ok i still dont see how these two cities make up one metro area cause both are surrounded by rural areas. the only thing they really have in common is that they are in the same county, which is what they mean by "area" i guess.
Philly at 28th. And Lancaster, PA at 92nd. That actually makes perfect sense. I guess it was a smart move for me to move from Lancaster to Philly (bu-dum-ching)

Baltimore, 14th? Really? Continually polluting the Chesapeake, gentrifying select parts of the city and ignoring the parts and people that really need help... it never struck me as that smart a place.
Interesting... counting illegal immigrants in decisions on Congressional redistricting sounds like the inverse of "no taxation without representation" to me.
All I can figure is that Huntsville wasn't big enough to make it into the top 100 cities size wise cause we weren't listed....
And I KNOW we would have been high....CNN did a report in the mid/late 90s and quoted census data.....said one out of every 13 people in Madison County (where HSV is located) had not only a college degree...but an ENGINEERING DEGREE.... 1 of 13....and most likely 1 of 25 or better really ARE rocket scientists ;D
