My first year (04) we left Sunday night. Made some rookie mistakes and got worn out, my friend was eager to head back (it IS a long ride to New Paltz!!!) and the rain combined with the late start for Trey and the Orchestra just made it the right decision. Since then I have always left on Monday. I prefer to get a decent night's sleep and travel by day.
Monday....that way Sunday nite, even if the headliner is "meh"...actually ESPECIALLY if the headliner is "meh" is my night to REALLY wander round shakedown and see all the stuff I don't have time to see when I'm running around trying to catch EVERY FRICKIN SECOND of EVERY SHOW I POSSIBLY CAN (oh and press cons, interviews etc...LOL!) Sunday nite is my wind down and enjoy the experience time... ;D Wouldn't even consider leaving till Monday morning for me.... Unless...you know...life and limb kinda stuff

last two years we leave on Monday. I love the sunday night it is just a nice relaxing evening finishing off our beverages and watching every try and leave.
Then waking up to a 1/2 empty bonnaroo is a neat experience. Then you can taking your time packing up at your own relaxed pace. I couldn't think of leaving on sunday, having to pack in the dark and fight your way out
My first year I had to work monday morning (what the hell was I thinking?!?) so left sunday afternoon. Last year, we left monday afternoon, were practically the last people standing, then ended up crashing at a friend's house in Chattanooga and getting one the road Tues., haha.
i usually leave Sunday night during the headliner...mainly because im so depressed that bonnaroo is almost over. In fact, whenever i hear a widespread song these days, i start getting depressed. it reminds me too much of leaving bonnaroo. But, since i have an RV this year ill probably stay til monday.
My last Bonnaroo in 2004 we left Sunday before the trey show, between the act, weather and mud it was an easy decision. There is nothing that get me to leave early this year though, I'll swim through 6 feet deep muck to see Panic close it down and my bus don't leave until Monday afternoon anyway.
how could someone leave saturday is it even possible to get your car out unless your in camp only??? how hard is it on sunday just in case but i def. plan on staying till monday ny is way too far plus how could sum1 refuse an extra night at roo

i went with people last year who left sat. morning some left sat night and a few left sunday before panic myself i stay until monday afternoon at all fests you can meet some of the coolest people on monday morning but with that said by no means am i rooed out on monday it usually takes a few days for me to enjoy being home
that sounds terrible (leaving saturday morning) i had a buddy who had to do it last year though... TOOL wore him out too bad and he got taken to the Nashville hospital (by helicopter i think) for dehydration and his grandma came and picked him up
and then bitched at me for not making him take his meds. i told her, your grandson is 19, if he can't take his own meds and drink enough water than he's got bigger problems than me.
i still only hung out with him maybe 3 times since then
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

hmm... well the cure for this would probably be to watch widespread's show this year, and leave monday instead
that way, next time you hear panic, you think about how much fun you still had after their set on sunday night before you passed out

This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
