1. Anyone ever get allergy shots (immunotherapy)? I'm currently 5 weeks in to getting them (im soooo allergic to everything... including.. yes.. CATS). Did you have success with them? After how long?
and
2. Anyone have any inside tips on how to get out of your cell phone contract early? I despise Nextel. i never get my texts. my friends dont get the ones i send, and my contract is up in august.
THANKS for participating in the randomness of my saturday morning! time for more coffee....

I can answer the first one for you-- not firsthand though. My older sister had to take allergy shots. Since my mom is a nurse, she was able to give them to my sister at home, I remember cringing everytime she did it. But they worked wonders for my sister.. after the first couple of months, everything was dandy for her.
I don't know about cell phone contracts. :[ Good luck with that!!
I don't know if there's a way out of your cell contract early, other than handing over a good deal cash to Nextel in accordance with the early termination clause that's probably in there.

My roommate has been taking allergy shots for a few months now. Right now he's at the point where he can be around cats and other allergies for longer before getting all stuffy and watery eyed, but it's not completely gone by any means. He said they're expecting him to be more or less allergy free after another 2 or 3 weeks though
