My local classic rock station has a regular "4:20 Floyd" feature. It is what it says it is - Pink Floyd played at that time of day, every day.
I know there are other band-centric regular features on radio stations - Get the Led Out & Mandatory Metallica are the only other ones in my market's stations. I've heard those two features on other stations in Milwaukee and elsewhere.
I haven't heard of any other radio stations doing 4:20 Floyd, though... The station that plays 4:20 Floyd around here got bought by ClearChannel, so I think there's a possibility the feature isn't unique to Madison. I'm just curious to know whether this is a local thing, or if anyone else has this in their local market.
I'm not one for Mandatory Metallica. That's on the hard rock station, which isn't even on my pre-set buttons. I think they do that twice a day.
The station I'm talking about does Get the Led Out - three LZ songs - at 6pm in addition to Floyd @ 4:20. If it's a two-for-Tuesday or block party weekend, those rules apply to the 4:20 Floyd. I tuned in hoping it would be all Floyd, all day today and was disappointed.
We have Mandatory Metallica - hard rock station 6 pack at 6 - hard rock station two for Tuesdays - classic rock station Sunday Brunch - from 8 - 2 every Sunday - awesome stuff - classic rock station

Yeah...we have a local station that has a Friday Free-for-All in the mornings...or at least they used to (I admit since I got XM I don't really listen to regular radio anymore ) Basically it was an all request show...they HAD to play whatever anyone called in and requested whether it fit the "format" or not...LOL! It got pretty....umm...strange...tho most of the time it just turned into Disco mornings...
we got the led out at 9 and the 2 for tuesdays also weekends are back to back too
also during the week they play a whole cd non stop at midnight
its was great...one time we were camping and our cd player wouldnt work because it was taking too much battery, so we can only get the radio. and at that very moment it turned to 12 and they played led zeppelin one. that is one of the clutchest moments ive ever had happen
Local radio station here in Baton Rouge is counting down the top 25 albums of all time, it's a Classic Rock station btw. But every night they do another album on the countdown and play it in it's entirety. It's pretty cool.

The station I was talking about did a Memorial Day weekend top 500 songs countdown. Their #1 song was AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long" with Stairway at #2. I was infuriated.
