Hey everybody. I hope your respective worlds are spinning properly...or at least not colliding too much.
I've been contacted by a few of you guys over the past day or two and I thought that, at the very least, I owed you folks some sort of response.
First: I am truly sorry for my part in the whole "korvette" ordeal. I thought (and still do) that I was doing the right thing by pointing out, what I percieved to be, a horrible person and their out-of-place rhetoric. No matter what may have occured/happened/been said in the heat of the moment, I sincerely apologize to Aly for the name-calling. In trying to call-out korvette, I ended-up sinking to his level. With Aly, and others, things got out-of-hand....and quickly. And while, I'm not taking all of the blame for how rapidly things deteriorated, I am most definitely owning-up to a decent sized chunk of it. I'm sorry....I think it's probably best to leave it at that for now.
Second: I appreciate the kind words, and apparent fond memories, that some of you folks posted/mentioned in the "disapointed" thread. It really surprised and flattered me that any of you even remembered me....or how/why I left. I/we had some really good times here. From drunken brawls with Keith to massive ammounts of music swapping with Aly, from endless yammering about how f*cking great Volta is to the OVERWHELMING kindness of one very special lady...It was my second home! I'm sorry that I played any part in creating even more needless drama on this board. I miss you guys too. I'll leave that one alone now too.
Third: All of that being said, I have decided not to return to Inforoo. It's nothing personal, in any way. I just feel like, If I were to stay signed-up, I would be a hypocrite. Much like my boy Keith, I too fell that Bonaroo is a gross, bloated charicature of a once unbelievably precious thing. With all due respect for you folks who are still digging it, I just can't support it anymore. Being pretty outspoken in my personal beliefs, I would inevitably get sucked into one of the constantly recurring "change in vibe/ huge sell-out or not" argument....and after making my "stand", then coming back on, I wouldn't have any credibility at all. Maybe that makes sense to you. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe you just don't care. Regardless, I wish you all the best. Goodbye.

Pretty respectable owning up for actions and even for not returning (altho I wouldn't mind if ya did )
My only complaint is I never got to hear how you liked that Talking Heads show I gave you a night or two before you left. I'll just assume you loved it because it was one of the greatest bands to ever play
Might never have left had I know Korvette got banned. That creep got out of control with threats and whatnot. Reminded me of roid rage. Good thing he is no longer on the streets. Or IS HE ??????????????
I really just wanted to have Oatey's back in the whole deal. Yes Schnappsy was forward with his ballbusting especially with the avatar he created. But if ya can't ballbust racism and bullies on a bonnaroo message board, then everyone is a little too "let's just get along fo me". And that was co-opting corncat in my opinion.
I left in solidarity with Oaty and Hillari. And I'll do it again. There are too many people who just wanna fight, and too many MORE people who won't support the righteous when fights occur.
Oatey-hope all is well. George Clinton at the Ledges the weekend of Roth. You'll be missed.

Hey y'all! It's Hilari.
I think Oatmeal said everything that needed to be said as far as what happened. Obviously, things didn't go down like I would have wanted them to, and when I left, I didn't expect to be back, but I talked to a couple of people right after we left, and we've talked to a couple of people in the last couple of days, and at this point, I have decided that I would like to come back and hang out on here with yous guys. Plus, my dog told me it was the right thing to do.
