I'm just sick of hearing dont stop believin at every party i go to. That said, I don't really trust critics and I'll check out kanyes set for a little bit, at least.
Couldn't agree more. I'm going to a free Roots/Third Eye Blind concert tonight and a Journey cover band is opening. Blech

My sister and a few of her friends attended the seattle show. She said that Lupe was top notch and really brought it down. She said Kanye's performance was good and he was really into it but she said it was a bit...well...dumb. "We need the biggest star in the universe! The Biggest Star!! We need you Kanye! We need you!" So says JANE, his cyborg guide and ship. She said it was a fun show though overall. But when she left she threw up some of the extra egotism that was shoved down her throat into the trash outside the arena. But hey! She said it was fun.

I'm not a huge fan of "Don't Stop Believing" right now........but in the middle of a concert.......a live show......where my energy is amped up and i'm enjoying myself.........if it gets brought out and rocked on.......i'm not gonna care.
Last year Michael Franti did the theme to "Sesame Street" and people went nuts. It was crazy.
Like Hilly said. Check him out and make your own opinions.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
