If you like bluegrass, get your ass to NC. Merlefest is this 24th-27th and bands like Old crow medicine show, the avett brothers, Ralph stanley and the clinch mtn. boys, Abigial washburn with bela fleck Casey Driessen & Ben Sollee, Rickky skaggs and Bruce Hornsby with Kentucky Thunder, Nashville Bluegrass Band, Hot Buttered Rum, Levon Helm and the Ramble on the Road, Sam bush, and many more.
4 day pass is $150 and single day passes are 30-50 depending on the day.
I' am going sunday to see about 8 must sees then will check out some smaller acts.
