Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I live north of the IHOP-Waffle House line, so Roo is usually my only chance all year to visit Waffle House. I can't not take advantage of that opportunity.

The only meal we eat at camp is breakfast (muffins, OJ, fruit, etc). We bring in plenty of snacks to munch during the day (jerky, dried fruit, trail mix, etc). For $5-10 you can get great meals for lunch and dinner that somebody else cooks for you and you don't have to clean up after. That appeals to the lazy-ass in me...
I always get 3 or 4 shirts, never any thing 'official', and have paid as little as $5. Wised up and got five day coolers and stopped buying extra ice. The biggest luxury item in Centeroo is the beer at the Broo tent...
Counting ticket, gas and everything, I don't think I've yet to spent $500 at a Roo but with gas closing in on $4 a gallon this may be the year.

well, seeing as I have yet to buy my ticket, I'm in a jam.
But, hopefully my parents will buy it for me, and I can just save up money on my own.
Last year we had a plethora of bad happenings occur, and we still managed well with a couple of hundred dollars for goodies and everything. I don't remember eating much though, except for a garlic grilled cheese and food we brought lol.
But this year I'm car pooling with friends, so I think between 3 of us $50 each should be plenty... maybe $75. And I want to bring atleast $350 to roo, plus I'm going to try to make some cash by selling jello-shots, so we shall see.
Roo does not have to be expensive (even with Goodies). So, if you think you will get strapped hit me up and I'll make sure you get fed well for at least 24.9876 hours. If you are strapped and make it in the gate with $80 you can be fine. If you come with $120 you can go home with a T-shirt 4 sure and if you have a friendly smile and make friends with your neighbors you will never go hungry.
I see talking about cost of Ice... Can you buy ice on the farm or do you have to leave and buy it outside? If so how much does it cost, and how long does it stay in supply?!
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
I'm going with three other people from CT and we're splitting gas, water, food, and all costs so I plan on only bringing around 200 bucks and hopefully won't have to spend much there. we have two five day coolers and plan on just bringing tons of water, enough for all our neighbors and are gonna make fresh egg sandwhiches each morning for everyone stop by and say hello

Last year I had $300 in cash. I spent most of it at Roo and still had enough left to buy some fireworks on the way home. I bought a $25.00 tie-dye girlie shirt for my wife and a couple of bootleg t-shirts.
Wait until Sunday to buy your Bonnaroo shirt. I haggled the guy down to $15.00 for mine and he originally wanted $25.00.
This year I'm bringing $400 mainly because I plan on buying more beer in Centeroo and I've got a lot of requests to bring back souvenirs.

plane tix to Nashville $250, two nights in the music city $???, RV Rental and Gas $400 per person in our 8 person party, breakfast and snacks for weekend, $50-100, beer liquor water $200-250, redbulls 50$, sunscreen $5, emergency fund $100, to do and buy whatever else i want when i want inside the farm and VIP $300-$600. anyone spare a quarter?
someone asked about ice. the fest does charge a lot for ice. it is not even practical to think of leaving and coming back with ice (time, cost of gas, logistics make it a bad idea). However, the best deal on ice (which is worth a bit of extra effort) is to buy ice from the local fire department. they set up a trailer with other vendors on Bushy Branch Road (Which runs through the fest camping area). the last two years they had 20lbs bags for like $5. A deal!
Man I was hoping to do the whole shebang for 600. So far I've dropped 440 on my ticket and plane ticket. And I'm not even flying straight there, I'm flying down to FL, meeting up w/ my crew and then driving up, possibly in a SUV. So I guess I gotta drop a million or so on gas. Plus we have to buy all the supplies we need (we might even have to buy a tent depending on whether one person's parents let us use theirs). Then there's food, goodies and souvenirs. And ice. Lots and lots of ice. How much do those 5 day coolers run and how well do they work? Oiyy. So much for 600. Fortunately I'm pulling out of savings, but I was kind of hoping to have some savings left after this. But easy come, easy go as they say. Too bad the "easy come" part is a bunch of bullcrap.

I'm gonna be taking about $1500-2000 for 10 days in America (including Roo) and seeing as that'll only be about £1000 it wont be an issue. Gonna be on holiday and want to have enough money to do everything i want and buy everything i want .x
Welcome to America. You might be interested in knowing that for all British travellers, the nation is having a 50% off everything sale - everyday!
As for me, I'm figuring about $500. My gf will probably bring half that amount... Frozen lemonades and arepas don't come cheap.
$175ish - gas (4 tanks) $40-50 - stocking up at Walmart beforehand $30-35 - t-shirt $40 - carton of cigs $150 - various goodies $20 - ice (my share, at least) the rest - beers & onsite food; Waffle House
Dude, save you $40 on cigs and just get your free couple of packs a day at the American Spirit tent. I swear, they've been at every fest I've been at in the past year at least.
I usually bring about $200 cash to a festival (not counting all my supplies and food and whatever I've spent too much on before leaving) and that's has always been enough for food, sundries and whatever party favors I come across. But, this is the first time I'm going to a fest without a BIG group of people who all bring and share lots of favors. I'm totally not looking forward to having to find or pay for favors

Being that I'm in Georgia and will carpool to the farm, I don't expect to spend more than $30-40 myself on gas. This leaves me with a good $250 for party favors and $100 for food and a Tshirt.
I had a buddy get through Echo Project last fall only spending $40. It's definitely possible to get through a festival with hardly any money at all.
