ARCADE DISCO POWERED BY XBOX 360
Secretly wish you were onstage at Bonnaroo? Now is your chance with Rock Band for Xbox 360 at Bonnaroo!
That's right, the gamers at Xbox 360 are back in action making our Arcade Discothèque the most happenin' place onsite. Xbox 360 has the best games and the best gaming experience. This year they'll feature a stage where you have a chance to play Rock Band on the big screen - so stop by to rock out. Not to mention, the arcade offers fun, shade, and a nice break between sets of music. There will be over a dozen Xbox 360 kiosks - with more games, more choices and more fun - so you can try your hand at the latest in HD gaming. At night, the arcade will also showcase a state-of-the-art sound system and the hottest DJs around to heat up nighttime dance parties.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

I sucked at GH too much last year to play, but I've stepped my game up this past year, so I think i'll probably try to squeeze in a song, probably And Justice for All if they have it. It also didnt help last year the person i was standing behind owned Jordan on expert right before me, then i was like, actually, i think i wont play.
I love that game! But, I'm no where near how good those guys I saw last year that were playing on stage. I think my hand would fall off if I played that fast.

I am just learning GH on hard, but my little cousin can kill it on expert, so I am gonna make him play at roo. If I can make it to expert I might get in a game too. Never played rock band though? Is it similar?
This could be really cool if I happen to come across it at the right time... as long as they have Guitar Hero guitars and not the sh1tty Rock Band ones.

I'm excited, I heard the DJ's were good and the dancefloor was awesome. My only request is maybe that they move it *slightly* away from The Other Tent...last year the sound bleed was awful during Superjam

The DJ's were top notch. Much better than the ones in the Silent Disco (though, they're not too shabby either)

this i agree with as well.
Everything i heard was hittin the spot. Highlites were a couple of Rage Against The Machine Songs, the intro to Smells Like Teen Spirit, and Aint Nothin But a G Thang.

does anyone miss the stand-up arcade machines? I do...it was retro but I bet in was a pain in the but to get them all to the farm. I 360 arcade is nice, but something about playing ms. pacman.

I completely agree. Call me oldschool (and I'm only 19), but I'll take a pinball machine over Xbox 360 anyday. Stuff like that's fun when you're at home, or chilling with buddies, but at a fest, old arcade games are much more fun. I want something simple, that I can play in 5 min. Not games that take days to complete

Absolutey.
I love what XBOX360 has done for the arcade tent, b/c music-wise, it was without-a-doubt the best they've had yet. The setup was much much fatter in 2007 than any year prior to that.
BUT, I have an XBOX and am not at Bonnaroo to play XBOX. I'd drop a quarter in an old school arcade game, but I have little interest in playing XBOX at Bonnaroo. That can wait til I get home. It doesn't really matter that much to me anyway, b/c ultimately I go in there to see the DJ's to spin the night away.
i did dig the XBox peeps last year for handing out some sweet ponchos. I never used it there, but it came in handy during the tornado at this year's Langerado ;D
