So uuuh... me and my friend kinda entertained the idea of bringing a small inflatable(or foldout) pool. If the neighbors are cool by it (and hopefully willing to help us fill it) do you think this idea would fly with authorities?
The main problem I foresee is draining it. I figure it wouldn't be too bad if we let a little out at a time towards the end of the weekend (it would probably be pretty dirty by a couple of days).
What is the size of it. I thought this would be easy to answer, but they make a 10'x4'x2 foot version that holds 370 Gallons of water, down to one that is 4x4 and holds 16 gallons or so. The big one I would either want to be in VIP, or hope my neighbors on at least two sides were down with it. The smaller wherever you like. So filling the larger ones would take say 10-15 trips with big coolers of water, actually working it out water is roughly 8.5 pounds per gallon, so I wouldn't want to fill it Warning Geek alert I am gonna break it down
If say you fill a big one up it would be
350 Gallons x8.34 2960 pounds of water, or 1.5 tons of water hauled. 15 gallons would weigh 125 pounds each and it would require 23-25 trips assuming you dont spill any on the way.
Wow doing the math here impressed me I wouldnt have bet on it weighing that much, but sometimes we forget how heavy water is. So anyway there you go and you can just use 8.34 pounds per gallon as a guideline on any sized pool, and decide if you want to haul that much water around. Also I have a suspicion that by 11:00 or so each morning the water in the larger ones would hit air temperature 80 or so, and I dont know how much breeze they will get for convection cooling at 2 feet off the ground. Anyway if you do get a big pool going invite me over to check it out

If you were to do this, I'd reccomend a LARGE cart and instead of coolers use refillable jugs or larger water containers. You'll also want a hose to connect to the faucets to pour directly into your containers without removing them from the cart

WooHoo! Another numbers geek! Karma
I'd also worry about emptying it as you'd flood surrounding camp sites. Likely you'd only get to empty it as you leave late Monday and it would be filthy by FridayPM
hey been there done that..it was cool bc our neighbors helped us fill it but one day was napping and found random people using it to bathe in not cool..so its good for a day!
Do not forget some ass could pee in it....you never know
Yeah we kinda discussed that. We really would have no idea what happens to that pool while we're not there. I understand the majority of people aren't assholes, but all it takes is one.
we passed by some folks that had a pool under a shade tent last year. they kept it full all weekend long and it was pretty dirty by saturday but they were still sitting in it...
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
