I guess. I mean, I'm not going to bash this particular no-no word, but I kind of think scientists who preach any sort of substance as THE answer to mental health are idiots. People forget that before establishing psychoanalysis, Freud was convinced cocaine was the answer to everyone's problems. The trouble is with drugs of any kind is that the doctor prescribing it can never fully know whether or not his patient will react well to the drug or if they'll outright abuse it.
So yeah, sad and all that a human being dies, but to me, I tend to think some of his beliefs aren't exactly to be celebrated considering how many people in the 60s got genuinely fucked over because of LSD.
He synthesized it thats how I see it. Yes many people may have had problems with it, but look at all that has come out of it. Everything has good and bad to it, I still mourn the loss of a great one.
