Just two nights before Radiohead embarks on their World Tour, they will treat fans to a one hour, stripped down intimate performance.
Making its World Premiere exclusively on VH1, “Radiohead_In Rainbows_From The Basement” will premiere on Saturday, May 3 at 12am. Taped in a London studio, Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar), Ed O’Brien (guitar, vocals), Jonny Greenwood (guitar), Colin Greenwood (bass), and Phil Selway (drums) come together for this exclusive performance special. The band will perform songs from their new album In Rainbows (Bodysnatchers, Nude, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, 15 Step, House of Cards and Reckoner) as well as previous hits (Myxomatosis, Optimistic and Where I End).
The full show will also be online at Music.VH1.com beginning Saturday, May 3. A single-performance “sneak peek” will launch online on Monday, April 28.
i started watching about 10 minutes in, flipping between that and snl. after a while, i just kept it on vh1. it was really good, i thought.
that was actually the first time that i ever listened to or watched those guys perform, and i was pretty blown away. i went to sleep kind of in a state of shock at how much i liked them. now, i HAVE to see them live! and buy the cd!

this was the goodness.
although i am a little wierded out by the fact that thom seems to look more and more like clay aiken by the day. it sorta adds to the "creepiness" factor though, i think.
^yeah, now that you mention it, he does kinda look like clay. but, what intrigued me more was the way he would have his eyes...i thought for a while that he was like blind or something in one eye...i still thought that he was a good performer.
and, as for the tour, i hope i get to see them. the only way i see it as being possible is through a miracle...

^thanks! that would explain it then. i knew that there had to be something wrong, but then i kinda doubted myself at the end when the whole set was done...it looked like his eye was back to normal.
since i have found a new love in radiohead, i am listening to reckoner....on repeat. i love it a lot, for some reason.

UPDATE: bought the cd at barnes and noble last night and it's the only thing i've been listening to since i got it. it's pretty quacking amazing! still working on getting to a show. can't go into any of the threads on here talking about the tour...i think it'll make me sad since i'm not sure i can go.

I happened to catch part of the show, but only part of it. What I did see, I was able to record. I'm not too broken hearted about it though...since I am seeing them Thursday and all.
